Pure Protein bars are very tasty and chewy to eat - they contain low amounts of sugars, but they contain sugar alcohols.

Sugar alcohols are nutrients that give the protein bars softness and sweetness, without increasing the calorie count. On the other hand, too much sugar alcohol can cause digestive issues - 'too much' sugar alcohol is considered to be 60-90g per day (2-3 ounces).

So, even if You are sensitive to sugar alcohols, having 1-2 Pure Protein bars per day should not cause any discomfort - just in case, start with flavors that are very low in sugar alcohol like Cookies & Cream or Marshmallow Crispy Treat.

Long Story Short: Pure Protein bars are very tasty, almost addictive, high protein bars that can be consumed in practically any situation.

If You are on a strict diet, these protein bars can help you fight cravings for sweets. If You are on the run, they can be used as meal replacement, although if You are a larger guy, they will not keep you satiated for more than 2-3 hours.

Pure Protein bars can be part of any healthy and well-balanced diet, but not the basis of such diet, regardless of how good and tasty they are :)
